Elliptical Picture with Painted Metal Plate

The painted metal plate pretends to be from a material that actually is not used in this work. Instead of using the real metal fittings of lock and keyhole the technical subject is realized by painting. The surface of the seemingly metal object flecked with grey seems to be broken up and enables the view to settings in blue and red that seem to be arranged behind each other. This way the technically dominated subject is given colorfulness and deepness.
