The vespertine destination has been reached. The road is winding through the little town. The Gothic church with the Baroque spire top is welcoming the visitors. The high gables tell a native Franconian story although the name of the place is unrecorded. The hiking group is heading for the tavern. Friedrich Neubauer whips out his sketch pad to capture the situation on it. He would never miss a situation like that. Finally he can be the last one without having to feel bad about it.
